Some of our Prayer Heroes visited the headquarters of Cafod in Waterloo, to present the cheque for the money that we raised during Lent.
We met many different people and learned about the roles that they have within the charity.
We got a sneak preview at the next challenge for schools which was called , " Be a zero hero." We dressed up in hero costumes and then presented the cheque to Vicky, from the education department. What a wonderful day spent with wonderful people! Have a look below!
Each year, the children at Notre Dame Primary school choose the charity Cafod to support. It is during this season of Lent that we think of others less fortunate than ourselves and promise to do something positive for these people.
Dee, from Cafod, delivered an assembly to the school to explain the good work that Cafod does to support these people and how we can help as well.
