The New Prayer Heroes for this academic year were selected by the outgoing Prayer Heroes. An application form had to be completed and then the new Prayer Heroes were chosen.

Prayer Heroes- May 2022

Some of the Prayer Heroes helped to plant plants in the Garden of Peace and give it a tidy before classes use for their Collective worship and RE lessons. Great job!

St George's Cathedral Mass

Some of the Prayer Heroes attended the Beginning of the New School year at St. George's cathedral. The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson.

It was spiritual and joyful occasion for all.

Prayer Garden - September 2021

Our Garden of Peace is beginning to take shape and the Prayer Heroes laid all of the pebbles that every child wrote a school value on, around Our Lady of Notre Dame. They then planted and watered plants to put around the garden. What a start to our Garden of Peace.

PRAYER HEROES ELECTION JULY 2021 GALLERY

The Prayer Heroes read through the applications for the new Prayer Heroes beginning in September 2021. There were many applications to read and there were lots of discussions on the best candidates to choose. After debating, the final 14 were chosen and letters of success were handed out by the Prayer heroes. A great job!

Advent Week 2020

The Prayer Heroes have created a collective worship for the whole school. This time they have used the focus of the Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary with the good news that she will give birth to Jesus. They have provided an activity for the children to complete after the collective worship. They have to think about how they can be God's messenger leading up to Christmas Day.

Prayer Heroes First Meeting 2020

The Prayer Heroes held their first meeting to discuss which charity we should send out Harvest contributions to.

There were some good ideas and they provided reasons why the charities are worthy of our collection.

It was a unanimous decision in the end.

Advent 2020

The Prayer Heroes have created a whole school collective worship. All children will watch the PPT about Advent in their classes this week as well as complete the short activity.
